Policy statement and principles
We aim, within our small school, to develop thoughtful individuals, confident and resilient children of all ages who understand the positive contribution which they can make to the world and their status as God’s precious children. Therefore, we recognise not just our statutory, but also our moral duty to promote the welfare of all. We endeavour to provide a welcoming environment where children are respected and valued; safe in the knowledge of God’s love for each individual. We are alert to the signs of abuse and neglect and follow our procedures to ensure the children receive effective support, protection and justice.
This Child Protection Policy will be reviewed by the Snr Designated Safeguarding Lead Miss Maria Parkin on a regular basis to ensure it remains current and incorporates all revisions made to local or national safeguarding guidance. This policy will as a minimum be fully reviewed as a minimum once a year during the autumn term provided to the Governing Body for approval and signed off at the first autumn term meeting.
